Jean-Charles de Castelbajac has a new collaboration with odm design. It’s a colorful collection of watches labeled the JCDC U.F.O. Bloc Collection.  (4 red yellow blue green color displays light up one by one with sound!)

O.D.M. is a brand of highly designed technical timepieces created for the style conscious consumer.  Their mission is to be “original, dynamic & minimalist” and this philosophy is what inspired our name.  ODM remains true to that with every single watch they design.

The ETV | Extra-Terrestrial Vehicle

I really dig futurism… Especially when it comes to cars and gadgets. A modified car such as the ETV (Extra Terrestrial Vehicle – built on a Chevy frame) is definitely on my list of “Things to Own“. For the environmentally conscious, the manufacturers of this beauty can also go green for you.

If you are interested in a custom built ETV,  Call for more information at 321-431-8120 Mike.

A .22-caliber pistol with a high-tech safety feature. Made by German company Armatix, the pistol will only fire if it is within a few inches of a special wristwatch, which sends a “wireless arming signal” to the pistol.

An LED Light at the back of the pistol flashes green to signify that it is unlocked; the LED turns red when the arming signal is not detected.

The Armatix website describes a highly similar concept for a gun, but adds that not only will the gun be tied to a specific wristwatch, the wristwatch will be paired to a specific fingerprint as well. I’m not sure if the actual gun-watch combo has this functionality. A limited edition version of the high-tech pistol will be available starting next month for €7,000 (approx. $9,700 USD).

Armatix will eventually offer higher caliber guns, like this colossal revolver, as well as rifles and shotguns.

The Audi Calamaro Concept was developed by Tibor for a design competition, organized by Porsche Hungary. The futuristic concept looks like a cross between a boat, a ski and perhaps even a stealth aircraft. According to the designer, the shape is inspired by “the bone of the cuttlefish”. Being a design of the future, we guess, the Calamaro will be powered by clean fuel options. We can’t really comprehend how this car will take off, land or even fly, simply because we can’t see any propellers, thrusters or for that matter, even exhausts.
